Q: What is #GivingTuesday?

A: #GivingTuesday refers to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It is a movement to create a day of charitable giving at the beginning of the holiday season and inspire people to give back and support the causes they believe in. The first #GivingTuesday started in 2012, and it is the first year Compassion Sans Borders will participate.

Q: Why does Compassion Sans Borders participate in #GivingTuesday?

A: Compassion Sans Borders does not receive any funding from any city, state or federal government. We support various small scale rescuers in developing countries that have very limited resources. We hope that by participating in #GivingTuesday we can reach individuals and corporations and raise more money to help with the various programs that our partners have created to help a voiceless population.

Q: How do I know my donation is being put to good use?

A: Compassion Sans Borders is 100% volunteer based and so are our partners. So ALL your money is going towards helping the thousands of animals in need twhere our fantastic partners are located.

Q: How does this year’s Compassion Sans Borders #GivingTuesday campaign work?

A: We have secured matching grants for each of our partners. Just click on the organization you wish to support and make your donation. Can't decide or you just do not have a preference then use the Donate Button and we will ensure the funds are distributed fairly for various projects. All proceeds will benefit Compassion Sans Borders' partners and provide immediate care to pets with urgent needs.
